Amnesty Garden Party at Goldney House

The annual garden party at Goldney House to raise funds for Amnesty International took place on Sunday in blazing sunshine. A chance to visit the shell-filled grotto, listen to jazz, wander the grounds or simply relax on the grass with a cup of tea and home made cake.

Bristol band supports jazz legend Hugh Masekela

Bristol band Helele supported South African Jazz legend Hugh Masekela at the Bath International Music Festival last night. The world acclaimed trumpeter and his band played the final gig of the festival to a sell out crowd at The Forum in Bath. Helele - the five-piece Afro Jazz band led by Cameroon-born Alphonse Touna warmed up the audience with an uplifting and exuberant set which sat perfectly with the headline act.

All Jazzed Up

Bristol Jazz festival at the weekend packed the Colston hall. Great to see ans of all ages come together for a wide variety of jazz and blues. New Orleans day on Sunday paid a handsome tribute to this iconic city and greats such as Louis Armstrong.
