Bristol-born Arcadia returns to the city with a performance in Queens Square featuring a robotic 50 tonne spider created from recycled military and industrial machinery, breathing fire from biofuel. The spectacular show "Metamorphosis" - run in partnership with Bristol Green Capital - uses cutting edge technology and effects - from acrobatics to lasers alongside a DJ sound system. Arcadia has travelled from Glastonbury to Bangkok - and returns to its home this weekend.

Foodie fans have been enjoying sampling some of Bristol's diverse food culture across the city. The festival ends on Saturday May 9 - so there's still time to head for the centre. There are tipis in Queen Square where you can sit and eat on straw bales (and keep out of the rain) and listen to live music. Or you can head for stalls in Millennium Square and College Green.
